Who we are
Redrafted ("we," "us," "our") provides a voice communication-coaching mobile application (the "App") that helps users practice and improve spoken communication through recorded practice exercises and AI-generated feedback.

What we collect
- Account information: Email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text) (At sign-up)
- Push notification token: Device push token (FCM) (If you opt in to notifications)
- Voice recordings: Raw audio of your practice recordings (Every time you record a practice attempt)
- Transcripts: Full text transcript of your recordings, with word-level timing (After each recording is processed)
- AI feedback: Scores, written feedback, and annotated transcripts (e.g., filler words, pauses) generated from your recordings (After each recording is evaluated)
- Roleplay/simulation transcripts: Full text of conversations with our AI coaching simulator (If you use simulation features)
- Documents you submit: Text you paste in for feedback (e.g., an excerpt from a work document) (If you use artefact-review features)
- Event context: Free-text you write about a real upcoming event you're preparing for (If you use event-preparation features)
- Peer feedback: If you enable "open for peer feedback" on a recording, its audio and transcript become visible to other users you interact with in that feature (Only if you opt in)
Your voice recordings and transcripts are the most sensitive information we collect. A recorded voice can be used to identify you, and several exercises intentionally ask you to describe real meetings, real workplace situations, or real people (such as a coworker or manager) as part of practicing communication about them. Please avoid including sensitive information about third parties (health information, legal matters, etc.) that you would not want processed under this policy — those individuals have not agreed to it.
How your information is used
We use the information above to:
- Operate your account and the App's core features
- Generate AI-written feedback on your practice recordings
- Send you notifications and periodic summary emails, if you've opted in
- Maintain and improve the App
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share the data listed below with the following service providers, solely to operate the App:
- OpenAI: The raw audio of your recording (Converting your speech to text)
- Anthropic: The text transcript of your recording, plus relevant lesson context (Generating your AI coaching feedback)
- Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging): Your device's push notification token only — not your audio or transcripts (Delivering push notifications)
- SendGrid: Your email address and a summary of your activity (points/streak) (Sending weekly summary emails, if enabled)
- Supabase: All of the above, as our database, authentication, and file storage provider (Core infrastructure)
We do not permit these providers to use your content to train their models beyond what is authorized under our agreements with them.
How long we keep your information
If you delete your account, we delete the personal data associated with it, including your recordings and transcripts.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Update your account information within the App
- Delete your account at any time
- Opt out of push notifications and summary emails in Settings
Children's privacy
Redrafted is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under [13 / 16 — confirm the correct age threshold for your target markets].
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
